If you're the CEO of a company or someone involved in sensitive talks that rivals might try to intercept, there's a solution that ensures your cellphone conversations remain secret - at a price.

Originally developed by Nokia in Germany, but later spun off into a business called Secusmart, the technology allows you to encrypt conversations on your cellphone to prevent electronic eavesdropping.

Secuvoice, the Secusmart software, comes on a microSD card which you simply insert into your Nokia N-Series or E-Series handset (BlackBerry and Windows Mobile support will follow later). A home-screen icon appears on your handset, allowing you to make encrypted calls, provided the other person is also using the software. You can still make regular, unencrypted calls and set different ring tones for secure and non secure calls.
